Given current public health concerns, the 70th annual meeting of the New York State Association of European Historians will now be held online in a scaled-down format on October 24, 2020. This shift will allow us to accommodate a limited number of panel presentations and discussions, while also allowing us to incorporate some “lightning talk” panels about teaching and researching European history in a time of social distancing.
We hope to reconvene in person as usual for our 71st annual meeting at LeMoyne College, NY, in October 2021.
The schedule for the virtual conference, together with information for how to register for it will be made available shortly through our website. To sign up to participate in one of our “lightning talk” panels, please visit this Google Form.
The NYSAEH is a regional historical association that welcomes innovative ideas and presentations. Our members are drawn from across the United States, Canada, and Europe. The annual meeting is a collegial setting for the presentation of works-in-progress and we strive to create a welcoming environment for all scholars, including graduate students and independent scholars.
